250g slow-proved dough ball — stretch to a 9 to 12 inch pizza
Storage
Keep frozen until ready to use. Once defrosted do not refreeze. Use the dough on the same day it is ready to use.
Which pack do you have?
Your dough ball comes ready to prove in its own pot with a lid.
Leave the dough ball in the pot at room temperature until it has nearly filled the pot — then it is ready to use.
Your dough balls come vacuum sealed in a bag.
Decant each ball into a lightly oiled covered container before leaving at room temperature to prove.
How to use
Defrost and prove
Remove from the freezer and leave at room temperature until the dough has nearly filled the pot or container. This is how you know it is ready.
Preheat your oven
Get your oven as hot as it will go. Place your pizza stone, steel or metal baking tray inside to heat up at the same time.
Tip out and stretch
Tip the dough ball out onto a lightly floured surface. Using your hands, gently stretch and shape the dough into a round pizza base. Work from the centre outwards and try to keep an even thickness.
Check for holes
Nip together any holes before moving on. Even small holes will let sauce through and make the pizza stick to your tray.
Add sauce and toppings
Spread your sauce and add your favourite toppings. Keep them even and not too heavy for the best result.
Cook
Transfer to your preheated stone, steel or tray and cook at the hottest temperature your oven will reach until the cheese is melting and bubbling.
⭐ Stretching tip
A 250g dough ball will stretch to anywhere between 9 and 12 inches depending on your skill and preference. Do not rush the stretch — let the dough rest for a minute if it keeps springing back, then try again.
How big will it go?
9"
Thicker base
Less stretch, more dough — great for a chewier deeper crust.
12"
Thinner base
Full stretch — lighter, crispier and closer to a classic pizza style.
